Every caregiver has a story, and every story needs to be told.

I am so excited to share with you that I have been selected to participate on a panel of leading senior care experts to judge the SeniorHomes.com Caregiver Recognition Awards program, co-sponsored by Emeritus Senior Living.  The Caregiver Recognition Awards program aims to recognize the millions of Americans serving as caregivers; be it as a professional caregiver, or as a caregiver to a loved one or friend.

The National Alliance for Caregiving reports that 1 in 3 Americans is serving as a caregiver to a friend or family member.  That means nearly 65 million Americans struggle with the physical, emotional, and financial challenges of caregiving.

Chris Rodde, CEO of SeniorHomes.com says, “With the Caregiver Recognition Awards, we’re honoring caregivers everywhere by offering a platform for caregivers and recipients to share their most memorable moments with the world.”

There are many ways to participate in the Caregiver Recognition Awards program.  Caregivers can submit their story online at the SeniorHomes.com website, anyone can vote for their favorite stories, and entrants who “like” the SeniorHomes.com Facebook page will be entered in a weekly gift card drawing.
